January Sales

Although I absolutely hate sale shopping because the mess makes me so stressed out and wanting to tidy everything I did still manage to crab a couple of bargains this year. 

From Debenhams beauty sale I managed to grab myself a gorgeous Lancome Highlighter for only £17. Its gorgous on, giving the face a healthy glow ans really helping to define the cheek and brown bone.

Whilst in Debenhams I also picked up a half price gift set of my favourite fake tan Vita Liberata, I am spoke about this products in previous posts, I absolutely love it. its has a gorgeous smell, its easy to apply, it fades of with no hassel and gives me just a really natural bronzed look (no orange handies either). The set contained a cosemtics bag, a mit, the wash off tan and the developing tan. Very good for only £15.

 Although the next item wasn't on sale I did still manage to get myself a bargain, a couple of months ago I posted about a sample of the Chanel Vita Lumiere Aqua compact foundation I had been given. Well I was so impressed by the coverage, the finish  the ease in application and the feel this product gave my skin that I decided to invest in the full sized product. Other than perfume this is the first Chanel product I have bought myself in a few years as I feel a lot of the time you are paying for the brand and not a good quality product, however this opinion has now been squashed. Anyways bag to the bargain so rather than buying the fully packets compact I bought simply the refill. This gives you the same amount of product and still comes in close-able compact packaging however is not heavily branded as being chanel or shiny or extremely attractive looking. But in doing so I saved myself £10, to buy the fully packaged regular product it is £39 to buy the refill it is £29. That to me is a no brainer, who cares how the product looks in your make up bag as long as it looks amazing on your face. Below are pictures of my product (the refill) and the full sized compact.

I have a confession the only apparel retailer I visited during the sales was Topshop and that was only because I had nothing to wear out on New Years Eve therefore everything you see in the images below is from my beloved Topshop and was grabbed in the sales.
